alright alright...
i'll do a new post, too...
i told michelle on her blog that it was time for a new posting...she had not posted anything btwn sun and thurs...well, she listened to me and posted...
well, she just told me it was time for a new post...i guess i haven't posted anything btwn last thursday and today...but in my defense, i was out of town for 5 of those days... :)
well, i am in the process of uploading the few pics i do have on my camera...
you see, i forgot to pack one thing and one thing only...the charger for my camera...and apparently, i had very little battery life in it...so, i had to severely limit my picture taking on my camera...which is really too bad cause i want to see pictures REALLY badly...ask Kari-Lynn...lol
the wedding was perfect!!!
it was quite chilly outside because of the wind and we were right next to the ocean...
we had a lot of positive feedback about the bagpiper we hired...he did a fabulous job...
we had it videotaped by a friend who does that for a living...so we know that we will get quite high quality...he videotaped just the ceremony, not the reception...
sadly, i do not think we will have much of any reception pictures...i don't remember any camera flashes there except for the cake cutting...
since it was so cold out and we had NO time between ceremony and reception, we only got a few pictures taken...we were going to do them the next day, but will hurt his knee and wasn;t up for it...so, we were going to do them the next day, but he had forgotten and he had not shaved and to do that would have taken forever (trust me)...so, i am quite disappointed about that...i really wish we ahd got some pictures...we are going to hire somebody in the future to do some formals of us, and i am thinking that sometime when we come up home, we can get family pics taken...kl and i bought some gift cert. for a photography place up there for cheap that will get us no sitting fee and a free pic, so we could probably use that, too...we will seea bout all that though...
all in all, it was a great day...so much, in fact, that i want to do it again...
well, i will try to post a few pics in my next posting, and then when i have the good ones, i will post them too...
