Well, I have not quite reached my weight loss goal, but for certain reasons, I have decided that I will not continue with my weight loss goal.
Some of you already know why I would make this decision, some of you will probably guess, and some of you may have no clue why...lol
Don't worry, for those who may have no clue, I will let you all know in a little while.
Anyways, being as I have decided to stop, I decided that today would be the day to do my measurements.

Here are my starting measurements.
Starting Weight: 177.0 lbs
Goal Weight: 160.0 lbs
Bust: 38 1/4"
Bicep: 12"
Just below bust (bra band area): 30 1/2"
Waist: 32"
Belly: 40"
Hips: 45"
Thigh: 26"
Calf" 16 1/4"
Bridesmaid Dress Size: 10 (Question is, will I have to get it altered in order to fit me better when I reach my goal weight???)

And my new measurements.
Finishing Weight: 163 (-14lbs...3 lbs from goal weight)
Bust: 36 1/2" (-2"..the other nice thing here, is that I have gone from an F cup to a DD cup...and the DD is starting to fit a little big)
Bicep: 12" (same)
Just below bust (bra band area): 30 1/2" (same)
Waist: 30 1/2" (-1.5")
Belly: 38" (-2")
Hips: 42" (-3")
Thigh: 23 1/2" (-2.5")
Calf: 15 1/2" (-3/4")
Bridesmaid Dress Size: 8.
The sad thing about the dress size thing, is that now it is too close to the wedding to get it altered, so I have to deal with it being big...lol

So, there ya have it...those are my results for the past 2 1/2 months.
Not too shabby, if you ask me.
I would also like to add that 163 is 17 lbs below my weight when I got married, and 18 lbs below my weight when I got pregnant with Scott...20 lbs less than when I got pregnant with Aerin.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY '09

I want to wish my wonderful husband a super happy Father's Day today.
He really is a fantastic father, and as the kids get older, I see it more and more every day.
He has such a super bond with Aerin. She loves him so much...he is her world. He has told me that one of the best things about her is that he never chose her to be super close to, but she chose him. She just adores him and has from the start.
Scottie loves his Daddy, don't get me wrong, but he is more likely to choose his Mummy over his Daddy.
It's so fun to see them get to know each other better and to see Will teaching them. Will, me and the kids went to Monterey last month and I got some pictures of Scottie sitting next to his Daddy holding the fishing pole, fishing with Daddy. I am excited for Scott to get older and to have Daddy take him on fishing and hunting trips with him. I sure hope he loves it like his Daddy.
I hope Aerin does, too. I hope that she will always look up to him and he will be her hero.
He is a wonderful husband who loves me so much. He is a good man and I am lucky to have him.
For Father's Day '09, I decided to make him his own "burger and fries".
By "burger and fries", I really mean, a "hamburger" made from cupcake, brownie, icing and sesame seeds and by "fries", I mean sugar cookies cut in the shape of fries and sprinkled in sugar.
I got this idea from my favourite baking blog http://bakerella.blogspot.com
I am sorry, but I must admit that the pics I got do not do the "burgers and fries" any justice at all. They look much better in real life.

I would also like to add that I hope all my other family and friends (who are Daddy's) have a super fun and Happy Father's Day.

So, today is Solomon's Mom's birthday and I decided (and lucky for me, he agreed) that a nice present for her would be a frame with some pictures of him in it. (Even Will thought she would like and appreciate it.) I thought of this last night while I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep.
So, today, we went outside and I snapped a bunch of pictures...and these are the 5 that we narrowed it down to. Basically, these are the ones that Solomon likes the most. My favourite is the one where he is standing with his hand on the wall.
I think a 5 picture frame will be really nice.
What do you think???

Is this what my blog looks like???

It's been so long I hardly recognized it...lol
So, yeah, you may have noticed that it has been awhile since I have blogged.
Oh, you didn't???
Good. Good.
The likely one and only time I am happy to not have diligent stalkers...hee hee
Okay, I know Michelle is a bit of an annoyed diligent stalker.
Is she the only one???
Do tell.

I really don't have a good reason, in case you are wondering. I just got super-duper lazy in the blogging department.
That's it.
That's all.
I wasn't abducted by aliens, my computer did not fall down into a dark abyss (okay, well it kinda did...it did die for about a week, but, well, that was closer to this end of the non-bloggingness, not the beginning), nor did anything else crazy happen. (I'm sorry, I just can't think of another ridiculous thing to say).

If you want me to be honest, a lot has gone on since I last typed on my blog...I know, believe it or not, my life continued even though I have no words to back me up. I do; however, have pics. Now if I had no pics, then I would have no way of proving I still have a bit of a life...lol
Okay, internet, be my friend tonight...let me show all my devoted readers some of the things that have gone on.

Basically, since April 17th (my last post...that truly is disappointing)...

My SIL's bridal shower. Lots of fun.
How yummy do these look???
My MIL made them...they are giant marshmallow wedding cakes.

And here is a pic of everyone at the shower.

That night after the shower we all met up and went to Olive Garden for dinner...so, all those girls plus the men went to dinner.
Funny ha-ha is that Scottie and Aerin each had crayons and paper. Aerin used them to colour, well, Scott like any real boy, stuck his up his nose...lol
That was quite the sight.

With the camera delay, this pic is of the crayons just coming out of his nose, but I do promise they were in, even though I have no real solid proof.

Oh, what else happened in April???
Ahhhhhh, yes, the time the kids got into my buckets of ribbon. They tore them up so bad, it took me days to even attempt putting them back together...quite literally, I had a big pile of ribbon on Solomon's bed for days. Good thing doesn't doesn't stay here everyday or I woulda had to battle it sooner than I did...lol

Oh, my, look at this handsome little man of mine.
We were supposed to have the sister missionaries over for dinner on this particular night, but Will was sick and since we didn't want to get them sick, we took the dinner over to them. Well, actually, they just stopped by to pick it up to save me trying to haul kids and food up to their apartment. Anyways, this is what I made for dessert and this one was Scottie's...just so you know, I didn't feed him their dessert...lol

So, there it is.
A basic little rundown of April.
There is so much more, but I do want to save some of this stuff for Scott's and Aerin's blogs, so off I go to update theirs, too.
