YAH!!! My kid rocks. She totally rolled over today. She has been trying for a couple months now, and she has actually come close a couple of times. So she was laying on the floor, I was reading a magazine, and I looked up and there she was, on her tummy. It took about 4 x of her rolling over before I was finally able to get a video of it (without the video being nothing but her laying on her back, til she FINALLY decided to roll over...lol). Let me see if I can get a video to post. My baby girl is growing up so fast.

And this is a picture of her laying on her tummy (obviously). There is something about this pic that just melts my heart when I look at it...I just love it.

The past while I have been on the computer lots. Way too much, probably. But I did not spend any of that time blog hopping. Shameful, I know.
My sister found a website that when joined, as a promotion, gave her 2 free photobooks. So, I have been busy creating a photobook for our trip to Canada before the promotion code expired. It is so crazy cute.
I so wish I could share it with the world, but until I recieve it and snap pics of it, you will just have to believe me that it is crazy wicked awesome.
As for the newness of our lives.
I am so sick of living os this stinkin' small apartment. Okay, so it's not stinkin'. It actually smells all cinnamony cause we stuck a cinnamon air freshner by the vent/air filter area. You must know the place I am trying to think of the name of.
It is way too late and I so should be in bed...yeah, I'm a wimp.
Life has been interesting the past while.
Solomon has been with us now for the past month, I think. Truth be told, I have kinda lost track of the time. His mom went into the hospital and was ust released yesterday so we have been taking care of him. It's been different being a mom of 3, instead of 2. It looks like it will be this way for awhile, so I made a point of introducing myself to his teacher since I will be the one getting to know him this year.
Yep, I got a kid in gr. 5.
Scott's halloween costume came in the mail. It is soooooo awesome. I am so in love with it. I would so show you a pic, but I don't want to ruin it for you.
When I was up in Edmonton my Mum gave Scott a tent set...tent, sleeping bag, camping chair and flashlight. Well, I set it up in my ridiculously small, (now, not then) cinnamony smelling aparetment for him. It took some maneuvering and removal of other stuff, and it is a tight squeeze, but he loves it so much it was all worth it.
When it comes to nap time and bed time, I let him choose his bed or his tent and he always goes for the tent. He actually gets mad when I put him in bed and not his tent. Hee Hee.

Oh, funniness.
I do a lot of laundry now being a mother of 3. It seems when Camille and Solomon are here, my dishes and laundry load quadruple in a day. Seriously, with me and Will, we can take 3 days to load a dishwasher, with either of his kids being here, I could do 1 load and then unload and put more in in a single day.
It's absurd. I don't do laundry for 1 day, and I got 3 loads the next day.
Anyhoo, off track.
In my much time spent folding laundry (and taking breaks from folding laundry...cause I so love doing that) I looked over and Scott and he had put my bra on his head. Placed the cup perfectly on his head and just sat there playing having a grand old time.
Sadly, the cup of my bra is not small enough to not fit his head. (insert seriously big pout here.)
One day, my friends, one day, that will not be the case.
One day, I will be all done having kids, when my breatfeeding days are done for good (assuming there will be no more surprises) and the cups of my bra will be too small to fit on my son's head.
Oh, and what a glorious day that will be.
I am not wishing to be done having kids (cause I am so not ready for that), but when I am, I will sing a farewell song to the chest that is just too big for my poor back. Oh, I dream of the day my back doesn't hurt so much...oh, yeah, and I can buy cute bras at a normal store.
How fun.
Who wants to go bra shopping at a cute girly girl store with me???
So, do you wanna see a pic of Scott??? Cause, seriously, it is too cute.

I told Kari-Lynn (my sister) awhile back that I decided Aerin is her daughter, and not mine. There are so many times I look at Aerin and I see Kari-Lynn when she was a baby. There baby pictures are so similar. It's crazy.
Here is one that looks a lot like Kari-Lynn. It is not the one that looks the most like her, but I think this is still a good picture to use as an example. But for what it's worth, you have no pic to compare it to, so you will have to trust me.
KL, what do you think???

I think it is her eyes. She has the same big eyes that KL has.
Oh, hey, Leslie, this blog posting is totally giving yours a run for their money...lol
I am so in love with this baby girl...and my boy, of course. I just can't imagine my life without them.
When I look at my babies, I know that they were just meant to come to be with me. I was meant to be their Mama and they have always been meant to be my babies. Heavenly Father knew this. He knew it so long ago and he made sure that these babies came to me. We are so blessed to have them in our lives. It just feels so right when I look at them...when I see their smiles...when they cling to me and just don't want to let go. In these moments, I feel unconditional love.
I know they love me with everything they have.

Okay, seriously, this picture, I just love.
Scott really does love his baby sister so much. Today he was just being a goof for her and he had her laughing like crazy. He just loves making her laugh. He loves trying to help take care of her when she is sad. He just adores her. And I absolutely love seeing that.
This picture, to me, just is too precious for words.

And now, just for some random photos...

Well, I guess that will be all for now, except for one question...
which spelling do you like better...
"kuddlebuddiezzz"
or
""kuddlebuddyzzz"?
I am going to be making a baby blanket/pillow/changing pad set and this is what I want to name the set, but I want to know which spelling is more liked. Once I have some made and a store set up with them, I promise to provide a link so you can all see.

I am not a true believer in horoscopes. I don't read them on a daily basis and base my life on what the stars have in store for me. I think, overall, they are ridiculous.
But these ones, now these ones seemed accurate enough to me to take note of them. And you know, saying accurate enough is an understatement. It's kinda freaky how accurate they are.
They are "compatibilty" horoscopes for parent to parent, parent to child and child to child.
So, I thought I would share my compatibilty horoscope with me and Will, me and Scott, me and Aerin, then Scott and Aerin.
Enjoy.
If you want to get these done, they are at www.babycenter.com
(You may have to join---free---in order to do it, though)

Krystin (sagittarius) and Will (Taurus)
What a mixed bag! You bring such different abilities and qualities to this parenting team that it may be difficult to find the middle ground. While the Taurus parent is grounded, slow-paced, and stable, the Sagittarius mom or dad tends to be much more adventurous, lively, and curious. Taurus wants to stay home and cook while Sagittarius goes out to play. Fortunately you both love the great outdoors, although for different reasons: Nature feeds and calms the Taurus soul, while to Sagittarius, it's yet another realm to explore and conquer.

It's easy to focus on your differences, but a better tactic is to accept the broad range of abilities you possess between you. Be sure to consider your innate personal talents when dividing up the childrearing tasks. This is the way your kids will get the best of both worlds.

Krystin (sagittarius) and Scott (sagittarius)
Just like you, your Sagittarius child is happiest outdoors or embarking on a grand adventure. You're both naturally athletic, and you can help develop that aptitude by playing games of chase through the park or tossing a softball back and forth to improve your child's hand-eye coordination.

In general, getting out of the house together is a must. Trips to the library or the zoo are big favorites for both of you, as are weekend hiking or camping trips and visits to other cities or even countries. Yes, you have a natural traveler on your hands! You and your little adventurer are a wonderful parent-child match, as you're both always on the go and up for anything exciting or educational. Your little Sagittarius absorbs everything you have to teach him, so be sure to present him with plenty of books, people, and ideas.

Krystin (sagittarius) and Aerin (Pisces)
Your sensitive Pisces child needs lots of emotional support and reassurance, which at times can be a tall order for you to provide. Of course you have the best of intentions, but you've always been playful and carefree, and you don't spend a lot of time considering feelings -- yours or anyone else's. Good thing your little Pisces is so sweet and charming! That makes it a lot easier to return her love in a demonstrative, consistent way -- it's hard not to respond to her effusive affection.

Still, try to be a bit more careful than usual with this tenderhearted, vulnerable child, and appreciate the fact that she's deeply emotionally attuned with you. Otherwise, you might not even realize that you hold a central role in her heart and how she looks to you for sustenance as a fern looks to the nourishing rain.

Scott (sagittarius) and Aerin (Pisces)
These children make great, mutually supportive friends as they grow up. They have much to learn from one another, and aside from Sagittarius's dogmatic tendencies, each is kindhearted enough to teach their sibling without turning it into a superiority contest.

Adventurous Sagittarius enjoys spending time away from home more than sensitive Pisces does. But especially if Sag is the elder of these two, he can encourage his sibling to come along bravely and see how fun the wide world can be. Pisces, for her part, can teach Sag about being more compassionate and creative.

The only conflict between these two might take the form of chilly standoffs when tactless Sagittarius says something to wound his sibling's sensitive feelings. In these moments, you probably don't need to intervene. Both children are protective of their sweet bond, and they're able to work out most of their difficulties themselves.

Look at the montly payments.
I am hoping to get a mortgage for the same price as these monthly payments.
Once again I ask, who has this kind of money???
Seriously.
I just can't get over this.
I am baffled.
WOW!!!

Last weekend we decided to go on a trip. Will has been working crazy amounts of overtime lately and needed a break. So, the question just came down to, "Where do we go?"
Will and I have not been to Monterey since before Scott was born, so this is where we decided to go. It is, by far, one of the single most beautiful places on earth, I am sure. I am sure part of that is due to the fact that it holds such a special place in our hearts as this is where we got married (well, we actually got married in Pacific Grove, which is right next door). But, I am confindent that even people who were not married there agree with me on its beauty.
On our way there we always like to stop at Casa De Fruta. It is a fruit stand just after Pacheco Pass that has a camping site, hotel, restaurant, fruit stand, train. All kinds of good stuff. While Will and Solomon were inside, I took a couple pics of Scott in front of the fountain and this is my favourite.

We went fishing. Sadly, the only fish caught was an anchovie. Okay, fine, the guy behind us did hook a pelican, but I don't think that was what he was going for. ;)
We spent a lot of time on the beach. Who doesn't love watching the ocean waves crash into shore??? One part particularly cold part of our trip, I did take the kids back to the truck and watched a movie.
Scott wanted to fish, so here I am helping him. This was taken in a town named Capitola on the pier.

This is when the boys were surf fishing on the beach in Moss Landing. Now, fyi, when I say 'the boys' I mean Will and Solomon. This is where it was so cold that I took the kids back to the truck. Will and Solomon were troopers and stayed out fishing. This pic is actually of Solomon looking for sand crabs. I thought it was a neat pic.

Oh, goodness, what else is new???
Oh, yeah, our second day of our trip we actually stayed in Monterey. We went to Cannery Row as well as The Wharf. It's not kinda tradition...it's totally tradition. We found two little bull terrier puppy dog toys...dressed as pirates :) One girl. One boy. Guess who got toys???

Aerin loves toys, Scott, well, not so much, but I tell ya, both of them took to these dogs like you wouldn't believe. They both love them.
Aerin has such a pretty smile. I tried to capture it on camera, sadly, my pics did turn out blurry, but tis one is just barely good enough that I can show you her beautiful smile.

I have more pics of Scott being his funny self, but I will put those on his blog.
It has been crazy hot here. Our a/c stopped working and we called yesterday to get it fixed and they came today...what a relief. Turns out the filter just needd replaced. I hae never in my life seen a more filthy filter. And to think we were breathing that crap.
The past couple days have been nothing but cleaning for me. I gotta admit, though, it sure is nice to see a difference and not not see clutter. I have been doing laundry. I even got the treat of a lifetime...I got to go to Target yesterday.
I love Target, and to be honest, it feels like it has been forever since I have been there. I got the coolest cell phone cover EV-A!!! lol
Actually, I will take a pic of it and show you...cause it is that cool. (Michelle, you won't like it...hee hee)

One last thing I must tell you.
I made dinner all by myself last night.
Now, I know that that statement alone is not that impressive sounding, but what if I told you, that me making dinner all by myself last night, included lighting the charcoal bbq that I have never lit before...not using lighter fluid.
Solomon, Scott and Will were at the pool swimming and I decided to try it. I figured Will would come home and tell me one of two thing..."You suck" (cause I totally did it wrong) or "You rock, baby" (cause I did it right).
Solomon came back to drop off Scott and I told him dinner was almost ready, that the bbq was already lit so to not be much longer. Apparently, Solomon went and told Will that I lit the bbq already and Will said, "You are such a liar. She doesn't even know how to light the bbq."
Hee hee. I showed him...lol
I told Solomon that I really didn't blame him for saying that due to the fact that I really had never done it before and really wasn't sure that I was doing it right or not. You see, to light the charcoal, it has to be sat in some sort of chimney looking device that has a compartment below for paper to light. The fire from the lit paper goes into the top compartment and lights the charcoal...then once it's hot enough, you dump put the coals. Well, see, I didn't really know if you are supposed to wait until the coals are no longer on fire to dump 'em, or if you still want them on fire...either way, I winged it. And I totally rocked the bbq.
To say the least, I got the "You rock, baby."
So totally proud of myself. :)
Well, I guess that is all for now here, but please do go check out Scott's blog. Trust me, it will be worth your time.
You know, I just gotta add one last pic.
Aerin loves her Daddy so much and I love how she looks at him. And this picture captures it so well.

I sure love my family.
I am blessed.

Nothing you say can ever make me believe that I do not have the World's Cutest Children.

I am sorry. I know all of my regular readers (and not so regular readers) who have kids, definitely have cute kids, but they aren't the World's Cutest. ;)

And I know, that if any of you were asked, you would tell me the same thing about your kids. I think it is a rite of passage as a parent. We just see the uber-cuteness in out kids and can't imagine anyone cuter...unless, of course, a child is a devil child.

And I guess when it comes right down to it, we all do have the World's Cutest Kids. Every parent is the proud parent of the World's Cutest Kid. Aren't I right???

My boy is lucky he is so cute, cause I tell ya, sometimes I wonder if he made a pact with the Devil to drive me mentally insane. I like to think that what he puts me through on a daily basis will help me achieve a certain level of sanity when the terrible two's arrive in the not so distant future. That, maybe, just maybe, I will have enough practice before the time arrives. Please, do wish my luck.

Today, he decided to not only knock the swing down while Aerin was in it (luckily it is a stow-and-go one, so it sits very close to the floor), but then proceeds to fold the chair while she is still in it. I tell ya, I walk down the hall for 2 seconds to come back to find a child standing innocently by a swing (on the floor) with a baby folded in half in the seat. Okay, she wasn't actually folded in half, she was laying kinda sideyways in the folded seat of the swing. Either way, she wasn't comfortable anymore.

Seriously.

Then, she is playing on the floor awhile later, playing with toys...and he sits on her. Hello, get off of her. He's obedient.

Oh, he is a handful. But he loves her.

I keep a bottle of water in the diaper bag for whenever to go out if I need to make her a bottle. I don't like nursing in public, so I will just give her bottles on those rare occasions. Anyhoo, he decided to take it out and drink the majority of the water. No biggie. It's not like it's hard to wash, or anything. But then, goes to the floor, takes out her soother (aka pacifier) and gives her the bottle of water. It was so sweet to watch him feeding her.

And now my boy is trying to drink from a big boy cup. I decided to give him a very small amount of milk in a cup and he just loved it. He got quite the cute milk mustache from it, of course.

Oh, and how he loves giving her kisses. Okay, fine, of how he loves giving everyone (and everything) kisses except me. He kisses his books, his toys, the dog, Daddy, Aerin, Solomon...but not Mama. Will and I were telling each other the other day of how we are both actually kinda jealous of each other.

I am jealous of him cause he gets hugs, kisses, and waves bye-bye everytime that he leaves the house. I don't get any of the above. Will is jealous that Scott is so close to me in other ways. Like how he screams and cries when I leave and how I get snuggles like nobody's business. He will climb on my lap and snuggle with me almost anytime of day. But he won't with Daddy.

So, it's just kinda funny that he is close to each of us in our own ways, but we both want some of the closeness that the other one has.

We are both so lucky to have the love of such a wonderful boy.

And Aerin, oh, what a happy girl she is.

Scott was a happy kid and still is. But Aerin is always smiling and laughing...unless she is tired...and then the beast is released...lol

I was in the shower yesterday morning and Aerin was crying. So Will picked her up and everytime he would look at her, she would smile a huge smile. He would look away and look back just to get another big smile. How she loves her Daddy.

Anyways, back to Scott giving kisses. Here is a picture of him giving her kisses today.

Scott is in this phase right now of wearing everyone's shoes. It is so cute. I wish I could get better pics of it than I have. He goes around wearing my sandals, my high heels (in pink), Will's work boots, his church shoes, Solomon's shoes...he tried on of Aerin's today, but that didn't work out so well for him...lol

I tried putting him down for a nap at a reasonable hour and that just did not work out for me...sadly.

And this is what I found...at what I like to call a not reasonable hour for a nap. (approx. 5 pm)

Shawnessy is so good with him. I have never met a more tolerant dog than her...and this boy really pushes his luck sometimes with her...and she just takes it.

Well, I guess that is all for now.

Until next time.

Now, if you have made it this far, I commend you. But I would also like to let you know that Scott's blog has been udpated, FINALLY, so please feel free to go read it, too.
