WHAT A DAY!!!

well, i woke up at 6 to take will to work 2day so i could use the truck...
i came home and fell back asleep...to my surprise...and was awakened at 9:15 by my aunt sherry...she needed to talk to me about flying to cali for the wedding and stuff...
i got up...had a shower and then headed to the flower store...they had called yesterday to say they had some amaryllis in and wanted me to come see them, since i had only seen them on the interenet...so, i went in with my ever so cute wedding present from will, yes, the digital camera and she just gave me some to take home and show will instead of having to take a pic...i thought that was very nice...i got free flowers :)
then i went to the post office and purchased a ridiculous amount of stamps for the invitations...which were all overweight, so they cost and extra $0.12 each...so, i spent over $50.00 on stamps...well, my pretty invitations are worth it!!! they are so pretty, after all...
then i came home and put stamps on all the envelopes...wrote return addresses on them all, put grandma's very belated birthday card beside them, took Shawnessy and away we went...
my plan was to drop the cards in the mailbox, then take Shawnny to get her nails clipped, then go back to the post office and get a stamp for grandma's card...cause it was less expensive than the invite stamps...
so, this is what happened...i dropped the cards into the mailbox and started to drive away, when to my amazement...i had put grandma's card in the box...with no stamp...
so, i take Shawnny to get her nails clipped, and then go get gas...(which i coulda got for free, but that is a whole other story) and i am too honest for something like that even had i known...lol
so, it's okay, do i go back to the post office and let them know what happened or just let it get sent back to me and remail it with a stamp???
well, that would be fine, except i realized i had put no return address on it (or, so i believed)...
so, i came home, called will and told him all about it...he told me the card was gone for good...
well, i had to go back to mail a couple more invites that i had just gotten addresses for, and buy a stamp for grandma's new card that i would have to buy, when i decided to take a long shot and ask about the card...
so, out me and a supervisor went to look for the card...
apparently, a lot of people mail a lot of things in the usa...maybe they do in canada, too but i have never had the opportunity to rifle through canadians mail...
so, we dig and dig and search and search...and what do we find...THA CARD!!! yeah!!! i don't think i have ever been so excited in my life...my main fear was having to write something as good as i had written in that card into another card...make sense???
so, anyways...i am now home...hanging out for probably another 30-45 mins before i have to go pick up will...
then, there is a halloween party that we may go to...don't know yet...i guess we will see about that one...
