it wasn't meant to be...
"Sometimes God uses women to house angels until he has room for them to come back to heaven. You had an angel in your womb but it was time for it to go home."
"God is taking care of you guys and He has your little one in His hands."
these were, i think, the most wonderful words i could have been told...this has been one of the hardest things for me to go through...physically and emotionally...
i can safely say that much of my comfort comes from these words, offered to me by friends...
my other comfort comes from the amazing support of my wonderful husband...he has taken such great care of me...he held me in his arms as i cried and cried and cried some more...he bought me a heating pad for the cramping in my stomach and back...he brought me breakfast in bed...he even kept the bedroom door closed so Shawnessy wouldn't get in and wake me up...he took two days off work to look after me...and i can say is that i would not have survived yesterday if it was not for him staying home with me...
the pain is finally starting to subside, but it is far from gone...
the rest of my comfort comes from knowing that things happen for a reason...i may never know the reason, but God does...he knows why he needed our little baby back with him...
all i need to remember is that it happened for a reason...

it's good you're looking at this so positively. i never want to have to go through that myself.

I've been reading your blog for a few months now and after reading your post decided to finally "de-lurk" as they say.

I have never went through something as emotionally painful as this but have to many friends who have.

I know that no words from a stranger can help you, it's something that only time can heal. Knowing that your child is with God now is so important to hold on to, to get you through this heart wrenching time.

Stay strong...
