where's NOAH when you need him???
holy heck...well, i guess it is the season for winter storms...and it's most definitely not your typical canadian winter snow storm...nope, it is a rain storm...
we have so much rain, that it has flooded from our patio area into our garage...i had to go in and put anything fabric above ground...luckily, a lot of stuff is stored in plastic containers, so, i just put stuff on top of those...
it is so crazy...it's been raining most of yesterday, all night, and all day today until about 7 pm...
raods are crazy, too...i was one of the slower moving vehicles last night to go pick up will and even i was sliding around in spots...
there was one mini van that gunned it through a puddle right in front of us and as she got into it, she realized how deep it was...it was DEEP...and she had to hit her brakes, water was spewing everywhere...it was nuts!!!
so, anyways...yeah, we are about ready to build ourselves an ark...
it's even flooding into our back hallway...it's coming up under the carpet...i have towels on the floor right now and i am stepping on them to soak up the water, and i am sure i will be doing that all day...then when the rain stops, IF the rain stops 2nite at 7 like they say it should, i will be bringing our fans out to try and dry it up a bit...i will be washing/drying towels all day, so i don't run out and can keep putting them down on the floor...
