so, i've been hearing rumors...
that it is FREEZING cold in edmonton...which, admittedly, makes me less and less want to come back...
so, i decided to check it out for myself...
today, a high of -6c (21.2f) with a low of -12c (10.4f)...
ok...i admit...it is colder than fresno, today, high of 12c (53.6f) with a low of 1c (33.8f)...but that is NOT freezing cold...lol
don't get me wrong...i don't doubt i will be wearing a toque, mitts and winter coat and wimpering my pretty little butt off, but that's only cause i am very aclimatized to fresno weather...which even i am willing to use the heater all day in...
i just have always laughed at how wimpy we as canadians are when it comes to the cold...i mean, i don't think -30c (-22f) is all that terrible if there is no wind...but give me -12c (10.4f) with a wind and i will cry...i just think it's funny how we always cry about how cold it is, and how "you need to bundle up out there, dear...it's frigid" (we've all heard it before) and i walk out the door taking my coat off as i walk...cause it's so not frigid!!! lol
anyhoo...maybe i will be singing a different note when i get there after being in CA for 6 months...i'm excited to come home, see friends and family again...but so sad to be leaving Will...i don't know how i will survive not being with him every day...
