i make shopping fun...

well, this is a true story...it took place yesterday after solomon got out of school...will and i went to pick him up, for those who don't know, sol is 7...we had considered grocery shopping b4 picking him up, but we knew that would not happen, so when we went to get him, i decided to make him 'stoked' to go shopping...it really was an amusing scene...and i am sure many mother's were asking themselves if i was this poor boy's birth mother, and feeling sorry for him at the same time...

it wasn't really THAT bad, but it was funny.

so, we go grocery shopping...now you need to understand that the first day we all went grocery shopping together was up in canada...and i promptly did what no adult should ever do after the age of 7...not that an 8 yr old is an adult, but i think you know what i am getting at...i promptly got into the cart...i was in a goofy mood...what can i say? i may be old, but i can be fun, too...

so, to say the least, i can be a bit goofy...and as we were, acting normal, going around the grocery store yesterday, i was letting solomon stand on the cart right in front of me, and he looked at me and said...

"Krystin, normally i don't like shopping, but you make it fun."

in that moment, i felt so cool...like, i am gonna be the rockin'est step-mum EVER!!!
