question of the hour...

who is more wet after the dog's bath...me or the dog???

she took it better that i had originally though,to be honest...she is, from will's perspective,the kind of dog you have to get in the shower with to get her in...i have never showered with a dog before, and i was not going to start today...or so i though.

it started out with cleaning out the cooler we took to los angeles...some (well, a whole container) of coleslaw had tipped in it, so we threw everything out, and i decided to hose out the cooler...well, apparently shawnessy really likes trying to catch the water from the hose in her mouth...who knew??? at first it was just the bit of spray coming out from the joint of the hose and sprayer, then it got to the actual spray...i have never seen anything so funny in my life...

so, by the end of her drinking session, half her body was soaked...so, she's already half wet...may as well get her all the way wet...shampoo included...she thought that was cool til she saw me bring out the shampoo...all of a sudden, this was not gonna be as fun as she had originally thought...

she came out clean as a whistle...still smelling abit like dog, though, so we may have to do this again...WOO-freakin'-HOO!!! with me, soaked from head to toe...

i had my tricks though to stop her from getting away from me...the dog door was right there, so i closed it, so she could not get in the house..man, was that a smart idea, or what??? i am so smart that sometimes it just kills me :)

i think if we have to do this again, today, or some other day, i will definitely wear my bathing suit...
